Route of former railway at Hornby

The station, which was closed to passengers in 1957 was sited on the other side of the bridge Image but the route of the railway is clearer on this side. It once formed part of the Midland Railway's line from Wennington to Lancaster and Morecambe, which closed in 1966. To one side a new housing estate was in construction.
