Electricity House

This imposing gateway is part of the redevelopment of what was once Electricity House in the centre of Bristol. Originally designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and built from 1935, work was not finally completed until 1948 - the site was used for aircraft construction in WWII. From the on it was for many years the home of the South-West Electricity Board until the premises were vacated in the 2010s. Crest Nicolson have since converted the listed building into luxurious apartments.
