A large house, on the northern side of Wellington Park (Malone Road end). The following planning permission (5 July 2017) applies “LA04/2016/2511/F 12 No apartment in two blocks with associated works. Block 1 involves change of use from existing building (13 Wellington Park) to provide 6 No apartment, demolition of rear return and replacement with 3 storey extension. Block 2 involves construction of 6 no apartments in 3 1/2 storey block in rear of No 13, with access from Wellesley Avenue. 13 Wellington Park Belfast BT9 6DJ including lands to the rear of 13+ 15 Wellington Park located between No's 16B + 18 Wellesley Avenue and opposite No's 17 19 21 + 23 Wellesley Avenue Belfast.” The selling agents’ description includes “Number 13 Wellington Park dates back to the late 1800's. The developer has transformed this former grand townhouse into six elegant apartments.” This photograph appears as a matter of record only.
