Onion field at Lodge Heath

The Elveden Estate, north of the A11, is one of the UK's largest farms. The soil is mainly sandy and potatoes and onions are grown here, as well as wheat and rye. Here the onions have been partially harvested. Long rows remain, currently drying in the September sun.
