Three-storey block of retirement flats on the corner of Newport Road and Wentloog Road. The Cinema Treasures website states that the County Cinema opened here on December 26th 1939. It closed on November 8th 1974 after operating for a short time as a combined cinema and bingo club. Plans were proposed to convert the building to a snooker club, but these came to nothing and the building deteriorated. It eventually became a DIY store. After this closed the building was demolished in August 1986. Wentloog Court was built on the site.
