One of the benefits of a voluntary post on a heritage railway is the ability to become involved in some of the behind the scenes work that goes on unnoticed by the general public. Here Swanage railway staff are shunting vehicles in and out of Woodpecker Siding (on the left) and Eldons Siding (on the right) during a departmental movement.
