The late Gothic tower of All Saints is dated 1708 and is considered to be an example of Gothic survival - masons working in an unbroken tradition - rather than revival, the result of some historic scholarship. Thomas Sumsion of Colerne in Wiltshire is known as the designer of towers at Sherston Image and Dursley Image, so did he make this more modest design too?
