Two strikingly different listed cottages on Hill Lane. The stone one, turning its back determinedly on the lane, is Blizzard Cottage, rather charmingly listed as "Cottage next to old Police Station (occupied by Mrs Symonds)" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1116643 , is C18; next door is the C16 timber-framed former Police Station https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1116602 , looking rather un-police-station-like.
