First appeared on the side of a building in Albion Docks in Hanover Place, in Bristol's Harbourside in October 2014. It depicts a take on Vermeer’s famous Girl with a Pearl Earring, replacing the girl’s earring with an outdoor security alarm. Banksy is Bristol's home-grown and anonymous graffiti artist and is known all across the world for his satirical, anti-establishment and thought-provoking street art.
