Victorian postbox mounted alongside the entrance to Westmont House, an apartment block completed in late 2006. Previously a pub, The Bedford, had stood here, dating from the late 19th Century, and an old photo in http://pubshistory.com/IsleofWight/Newport/BedfordHotel.shtml shows the postbox incorporated in the wall of the building.
