The war memorial, executed in granite, is dated 1921 and was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Listed, grade II*, with details at: https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1393228 The bank, originally City Bank and later National Westminster Bank is now occupied by a clothing retailer.
