Backfields is on the right. The area is to the east of Stokes Croft. Of the building in the centre, Historic England records: "School, now court and mortuary. 1857-8, converted mid C20. By Foster and Wood. Pennant [sandstone] rubble with limestone dressings … Listed Grade II". However, at this distance, it appears derelict, gutted, and heading for transformation. June 2017 – The Old Coroner's Court is described as a "distinctive club space located behind Lakota in Stokes Croft". The Coroners Court [no apostrophes] is in Flax Bourton, BS48 Image
