The photograph on this page of Think before you park by Gerald England as part of the Geograph project.

This notice appeared one day on the corner of Marlborough Road and Gloucester Road outside Dowson Primary School. It was presumably put there to highlight the problems that arise when parents delivering or collecting their children from park irresponsibly. It looks like a "Police Notice" but actually reads "Polite Notice" so it is no wonder that it didn't stay in place very long. Whether or not it helped the situation at the time I wouldn't know.
