This dedicated two-way cycleway stretching the length of Castle Boulevard was opened in 2016. In particular it links the City Centre with the Nottingham University campus and beyond. It replaces replaced marked cycle lanes on the main carriageway which tended to conflict with traffic and car parking with the result that both cyclists and motorists benefit from improved flow.
