Apparently mocked as 'Britain's worst level crossing' (see http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/twitter/9081659/Britains-worst-level-crossing-mocks-motorists-misfortune-on-spoof-Twitter-account.html ), there can be no doubt that a combination of busy road and frequent train service creates a headache all round. This is, however, an example of a location where it would be extremely difficult to replace the crossing with a bridge.
