Late 18th or early 19th Century former pub on the corner of Swan Street and Ward Street (once known as The Shades Corner). State managed from 1 October 1916, there is no record of its return to the private sector so may have been closed by the Scheme shortly after acquisition. Old photographs show the separation of the building and the door in the grey rendered part are recent (within the last 100 years) alterations. Now private dwellings.
