Several other contributors have taken photos of The Cricketers pub in the historic 'railway village' area of Swindon, but the pub has now closed. The building is on the corner of Exeter Street [to the left] and Emlyn Square, although the original name was High Street, so named when this was the Swindon New Town and separate from the old town on the hilltop a mile to the south.
