The Abbey Meadows was the site of the former Wolsey Factory, a water tower and two chimneys are all that remain. There are plans to redevelop the site for residential use, the water tower and taller chimney will be retained and restored. This path is along the bank of the River Soar, opposite the National Space Centre.
