Looking northwards along the main street of this small village. To the right is the Neuadd Fawr Arms, a very friendly pub with good food and ales. It is believed that the street drain on the left is a long cattle watering trough for the hundreds of animals that drovers would have driven through the village heading for pasture land in the Aylesbury Vale prior to the livestock markets of London (see Shire Book "The Drovers" by Shirley Toulson).
