Pevsner says "Situated on the corner of Commercial Road and Kingston Street are the former offices of the shipping firm of Thomas Wilson & Sons, 1872 by W.K. Reeves, red brick with a great slate roof sweeping round the corner. Italianate, round-arched windows and doorcase with Corinthian columns.".
