The village is called Halfway House - and so is one of the pubs. As neither was open when the photo was taken, it's unclear whether this is 2 semi-detached pubs or one amalgamated hostelry. The Halfway House is painted white outside, whilst the Seven Stars Inn is cream coloured: is this subtle marketing?
