New and old housing, the new ones (no chimneys!) on the former coke works site, the older ones (lots of chimneys!) built for miners at Glasshoughton colliery. Beyond them are the chimneys and towers of the closed Hicksons chemical works, while Ledston Hall and stable block can be seen among the woods near the horizon. Viewed from former Glasshoughton colliery spoil heap, in square to the south.
