Hemp (Cannabis spec.) is one of the world’s premier renewable resource and the number one plant for producing clothing, paper, plastics, building materials, food, beverages, cosmetics, methanol fuel and an impressive array of cleaning and paint products. Industrial hemp products are made from Cannabis plants selected to produce an abundance of fiber and minimal levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (psychoactive molecule that produces the "high" associated with marijuana).
