The Western Power Distribution electricity substation is in a wooden enclosure on the north side of the B4008 Westward Road. The substation identifier is WESTWARD ROAD 10590. A yellow Caution notice shows the presence of SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride, an insulating gas used in high voltage systems).
