The old Metal Castings buildings have been demolished and cleared away and this site off Graiseley Hill is ready for redevelopment. It was already cleared and partly overgrown before 2009. Metal Castings Ltd made car and washing machine parts for more than a century here, but it closed in 2004 with the loss of 40 jobs. Jaguar Land Rover plan to open a new centre here (and on the plot behind the camera) and hope to start work in 2017.
