The Hoppers, one of the two former factory buildings of Elswick-Hopper, that manufactured bicycles in the town between 1880 and 1987, when production moved to Brigg. This building has been converted into ten residential units. Above the central window is the inscription, in stone: 'F. HOPPER AND COMPANY LTD.'
