Offices of the Courts, Probation service and DWP in Weymouth. In the background above the lamp post is the Coastguard SAR Helicopter. The helicopter had been hovering over the inner harbour for a couple of hours, and the inshore lifeboat deployed in a search for someone who had apparently jumped into the harbour. The Coast Guard SAR service from Portland is shortly to be replaced by coverage using a newer machine from Lee-on-Solent. Not quite so convenient. This is the Portland AW139 G-CGWB.
