The site of the Sighthill towerblocks is in the lower left corner. Townhead interchange (Junction 15) on the M8 motorway is in the lower right corner, with Glasgow Royal Infirmary to its right. Provan gas works is at the top, centre. The old A8 Alexandra Parade runs up the right side of the photo.
