Or it was the National Bank until it was taken over by the National & Commercial Bank of Scotland, who also took over Williams Deacons Bank, and Glynn Mills & Co and the English parts became Williams and Glynns, before it all got merged into and with the Royal Bank of Scotland. That's about it, if my memory is correct. Apartments are available to buy or let on the upper floors.
