A Yorkshire Miners’ Welfare Convalescent Home. The home is open to mineworkers, former mineworkers and their wives/widows who are in need of a recuperative break as a result of an illness or operation. Eligibility for admission is based on the number of years’ service within the Yorkshire Coalfield.
