One of the stone shields on this side of the memorial records the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. The inscription on the other shield is EAST MOLESEY JUBILEE MEMORIAL 1887. 1887 was Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee year. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5369971 to the opposite side of the memorial.
