Cellarer's Chequer, Barnwell Priory

One of only two buildings of the once extensive Barnwell Priory to survive, the other being the Church of St Andrew-the-Less [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5369153]. The Chequer was the building where the Cellarer (who sourced, organised and distributed provisions for the priory community) conducted his business. The building dates from the 13th century and is Grade II* listed.
