Leggy, crude but attractively detailed building of c1878, built as Strong's carriage works (Image]). The words "Carriage manufactory" can still be made out at the top. The Gothick shopfront dates from 1975, by John Prizeman, "a harbinger of regeneration after the market shut". Grade II listed. Now occupied by fashion chain Gap.
