On the end wall fronting Brook Street, at first floor level, is this relic of the time the building was the Wheatsheaf Inn. The sign reads:- "The Wheatsheaf Inn Real Ale Free House Bar Food Children Welcome". However, in its last years, this was probably the last place any responsible parent would want to bring their children to! See:- Image Image
