At the top of the hill before the cutting that contains Brighton station whose roof can be seen straight ahead. Always a pleasant pub as it avoids the cattle that spill out of the trains on their way into town on a Friday and Saturday. The view also takes in the grandstand of Brighton Racecourse on the far hill.
