Cast iron post by the UC road, in parish of SALE (TRAFFORD District), Brooklands Road; by No. 250, in low wall, on West side of road. Brooks Drive bevel, erected by a private estate in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / BROOKLANDS / STATION / 1 / MILE : : 1863 : : TO / PROSPECT / HOUSE / 3 / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: CH_BSPH01
