The recently refurbished Fountain in a new'ish flower bed in front of the subject in the title. One of the many impressive buildings in Sandbach designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and built by Samuel Faram of Wheelock in 1857. The Sandbach Literary Institution is a Grade II Listed Building held in trust "To provide an avenue for social, educational & cultural activities for the population of the market town of Sandbach." The Drinking Fountain is also a Grade II Listed Building. Spring 20/04/2017
