Cast iron post by the A418, in parish of STONE WITH BISHOPSTONE AND HARTWELL (AYLESBURY VALE District), Oxford Road; outside the Bugle Horn PH, at Sedrup Lane junction, in front of pub garden, between footpath and pub drive, on grass verge under a tree, on South side of road. Seymour iron casting, erected by the Aylesbury, Thame, Oxford & Shillingford turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / THAME / 8 / MILES : : HARTWELL / PARISH : : TO / AYLES- / -BURY / 2 / MILES : Maker:- : SEYMOUR / AYLESBURY : Milestone Society National ID: BU_AYTH02.
