This 180 feet high octagonal stock brick chimney, built around 1840, is all that remains of a "Steam Factory" at the former Royal Dockyard on Woolwich Church Street - the rest of the plant was demolished in 1982. The chimney was originally 208ft high but was reduced at some time. It is Grade 2 listed.
