Isleworth: The London Apprentice Public House

Located on the riverside in Church Street, a public house has existed here since Tudor times and it is said that it was kept open all night for people travelling on the river. The name London Apprentice is reputed to come from the apprentices working at London's livery companies who used to row out upstream to Isleworth in colourful barges during their free time.
