Extending for about 200 metres from Bristol Road to Bath Road, Union Street is a through route for walkers and cyclists, but not for motor vehicles. Faintly visible in the distance are metal posts http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5351103 across Union Street near the Bath Road junction.
