A notice on the gatepost requests walkers to dip their boots in the bucket which contains chemicals. Foot and mouth disease was diagnosed in two farms NW of Guildford this month. SW of Guildford, there are no restrictions on walkers but the local farmer here is taking precautions to prevent its spread.
