Still showing on the map as Hare and Hounds. I have a sale document from 1893 and it describes Lodge Farm as "opposite the Hare and Hounds Public House. My family farmed here 100 years ago and it was not a pub then or since. I spent many school holidays here 60+ years ago the farm was called Stape Inn then, the road was an unmade track and there were no trees on the moor. It is now a private house.
