Looking north-east towards Salop Street. This is the site where the former Indoor Market and Heantun House Offices building have been demolished and cleared. The Westside development (as it is called) will result in a new complex including a multi screen cinema, restaurants, bars, a hotel, a multi storey car park, and apartments. Some of the former indoor market traders are currently in purpose built container "cabins" on the open market site in Market Square, and all stalls will eventually be resited on the current temporary car park by Temple Street/Snow Hill where the demolished former Rackhams/Netto building was.
