This little ford at approx. 200m is on the unclassified road, part of the Severn Way, that runs through farmland along the south bank of the Severn from Felindre Bridge, on the south-western side of Llanidloes. The hill in the background with mainly deciduous woodland is Coed Cribin, height about 270m.
