The hill in the background is Magheramayo Mountain near which the battle of Dolly's Brae took place in 1849. Dolly's Brae was the scene of serious civil commotion on 12th July of that year when 1500 armed Orangemen returning from an Orange Day demonstration at Tollymore Park marched through a predominantly Catholic district and were engaged by 500 Catholic Ribbonmen. In the fierce fighting which ensued the Orangemen carried the day. Dolly's Brae retains a prominent place in Co Down Loyalist mythology. https://allthebesttoya.wordpress.com/2014/04/12/the-ribbonmen-the-orange-order-and-the-battle-of-dollys-brae/
