On the left is the former Fire Station (1933-2013), now the Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum http://gmfsmuseum.org.uk/visiting-museum On the right is the Metrolink Tram Stop which opened in 2013. The line was extended and opened as far as Rochdale Town Centre in 2014. In the background is the railway station.
