The bus approaching the junction is the diverted Goldline Service 240 (Downpatrick to Newry). Normally the Newry-bound bus serves Rathfriland first before travelling on to Hilltown and Mayobridge. A month long programme of improvements to the B8 (Hilltown-Mayobridge section) has necessitated that the inward bound bus serves Hilltown first and then Rathfriland before taking the A25 via Shinn to Newry. In the mean time Mayobridge is served by the local No 33 bus which makes its way along the B7 directly to Mayobridge and omitting Hilltown.
