A byway (albeit a dead-end route) allows public access as far as the opposite end of this field but whoever manages this area doesn't appear overly keen for it to be used. Official waymarkers are absent, locked gates block the track and 'private land' signs are scrawled on rusting machinery. The final straw for me at least was the reclining bull which can be seen shading beneath the trees on the left.
