This back street public house closed some years ago and remained boarded up for two or three years more. Now it has gone for ever, the site forming part of the car park for a new Waitrose supermarket. In the nearby streets were several more old pubs but almost all of them shut long before even the Live & Let Live closed. This link leads to a photograph of the pub when it was open.
